Booking Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to appointments booked with Summer House Wellness.
By making an appointment, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.
1. Booking your appointment
Appointments can be booked through our online booking and consent system or by contacting Summer House Wellness directly.
Some treatments may require an additional consultation, medical assessment or prescribing arrangements before treatment can proceed.
A booking does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be carried out if, following consultation, the treatment is considered unsuitable or unsafe.
2. Booking fees
A booking fee is required to secure selected appointments.
For most treatments, the booking fee is £20.
A higher booking fee may apply to treatments including anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and Sculptra. The applicable booking fee will be clearly stated before payment is taken.
The booking fee is deducted from the final cost of your treatment where the booked treatment proceeds.
The booking fee is not an additional treatment charge.
3. Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment
We understand that circumstances can change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice wherever possible.
Where at least 48 hours' notice is provided, your booking fee can normally be transferred to a new appointment or refunded, where appropriate.
Where an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or where an appointment is missed without notice, Summer House Wellness reserves the right to retain the booking fee to reflect the appointment time that has been reserved.
Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered reasonably and on an individual basis.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a higher booking fee being required for future appointments.
4. Late arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened to avoid delaying subsequent clients.
If there is insufficient time to safely complete the treatment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Where the appointment cannot proceed because of a significant late arrival, the booking fee may be retained.
5. Cancellation by Summer House Wellness
Occasionally, Summer House Wellness may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, an emergency, clinical considerations, equipment or product availability, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where Summer House Wellness cancels an appointment, you will be offered the option to transfer your booking fee to a new appointment or receive a refund.
If, following consultation or assessment, it is determined that a treatment is not clinically appropriate or safe to proceed, the booking fee will normally be transferred to a suitable alternative appointment or refunded if you do not wish to reschedule.
6. Treatment suitability
Your safety is our priority.
A consultation and suitability assessment will be carried out where appropriate before treatment.
Summer House Wellness reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment where there is a clinical reason why treatment should not proceed.
This may include contraindications, relevant medical conditions, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous treatment complications, insufficient recovery time from another treatment, or any other circumstance where treatment is not considered appropriate.
7. Prescription-only treatments
Where a treatment requires a prescription-only medicine, treatment can only proceed following the appropriate consultation and prescribing process.
A booking does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued or that treatment will be carried out.
8. Treatment results
Individual results vary.
No specific aesthetic outcome can be guaranteed, and additional treatment may sometimes be recommended to achieve or maintain an individual's desired result.
Treatment recommendations and expected outcomes will be discussed during consultation.
9. Aftercare and concerns following treatment
Appropriate aftercare advice will be provided following treatment.
You should follow the aftercare instructions provided and contact Summer House Wellness if you have concerns following your treatment.
If you experience symptoms that require urgent medical attention, you should seek appropriate medical care without delay.
10. Refunds and concerns about treatment
If you are unhappy with your treatment or have a concern, please contact Summer House Wellness as soon as reasonably possible.
We will assess your concern and, where appropriate, discuss suitable options with you.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include advice, a review appointment, appropriate follow-up treatment or another suitable resolution.
Refunds will be considered fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
11. Complaints
If you wish to make a complaint, please contact Summer House Wellness by email.
We aim to acknowledge concerns promptly and will work with you to understand and resolve the issue wherever possible.
12. Personal information and consent
Personal and health information collected as part of your booking, consultation and treatment will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may be required to complete consultation, medical history, consent and treatment documentation before treatment can proceed.
13. Changes to these terms
These Booking Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The terms applicable to your appointment will be those in place at the time of booking, subject to any changes required by law.
